No surprise the Southeast is becoming more and more popular as a golfing destination: it has some of the best weather in the country (thus the nickname "Sunny South East") and great deals for golfers of all budgets. Waterford City, the Southeast's capital, is home to an impressive 37 excellent golf courses within a day's drive, including the world-famous, Jack Nicklaus-designed Mount Juliet Championship Golf Course.

Located just outside of Waterford, this 18-hole golf course is a true hidden gem. The course is located on a hilltop overlooking Waterford, a historic city, and can be reached in ten minutes from the hotel.

The Williamstown golf course is a public, pay-to-play facility. The club is only a 10-minute drive from the hotel, and it features a brand-new clubhouse and an 18-hole course that are both immaculate and enjoyable for players.

When it comes to golfing in Ireland, Waterford Castle is your only truly island option. Located within 15 minutes from the hotel, this unique 18-hole course is completely cut off from the mainland.

Opened in May 1993, Faithlegg Golf Course Waterford, Ireland, was designed by renowned Irish golf course architect Mr. Paddy Merrigan. The course carries Merrigan's familiar stamp of difficulty, undulating greens, water hazards and perfectly placed sand traps, all of which, complete and heighten the challenge which is "Faithlegg". This 18-hole golf course is about 15 minutes away from the hotel.

Beautiful scenery, crisp sea air, and a thrilling and demanding round of golf are all yours at this 18-hole parkland course.

You can play golf at the beautiful Dungarvan Golf Club, which is only 30 minutes away and features views of the nearby Comeragh Mountains. This lovely and impeccably kept 18-hole course has been thoughtfully constructed to test golfers of all skill levels.

The Gold Coast Golf Club features a challenging 18-hole parkland layout. Dungarvan Bay, the Irish Sea, and Helvick Head can all be seen from this vantage point, which is only 40 minutes from the hotel. There is beauty along the entire route that makes it worthwhile to walk it.

In a leisurely 40 minutes, you may reach the West Waterford Golf & Country Club, which is open all year. The 18-hole course is always in great shape, and the greens are particularly pleasant to play on at any time of year.
